Welcome to BTL Christian International Conference Centre - Ruiru
The “BTL CHRISTIAN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTRE - RUIRU” was opened in the year 1994, with a guest accommodation capacity of 44 people consisting of a guest wing block, a dorm type building, a small kitchen, a small dining hall and one conference hall.
Over the years, the limited capacity of the centre could not allow the centre to host either large or multiple groups at any one time, leading to many prospective guests being turned away. This factor became a discouragement to many users who could not count on the availability of the centre when they needed it. This led to the centre being unoccupied when BTL is not using it.
The Conference Centre is a strategic facility for training both nationals and expatriates (mainly drawn from BTL and SIL) in translation, literacy and other related disciplines, to further the task of Bible translation in Eastern Africa....more
